Chugach Government Solutions

Two of your live SkillBridge postings, read against what your screen can and can’t verify.

This is your own posting text, nothing added. We split each requirement into two kinds: the ones a screen can verify — a certification, a degree, a number of years — and the ones every posting asks for and no screen checks. On your roles, the second kind isn’t hidden. You wrote it into the mandatory list. There’s just nothing that measures it.

Role 1 — the technical extreme

Network Engineer, Anchorage. Deeply technical — and durable skills sit in the same mandatory list, unverifiable.

Two layers, one of them invisible to the screen

Every role has a technical layer — certifications, degrees, years, tools. A screen catches it cleanly, because it’s pass/fail. Your Network Engineer’s DoD 8140 cert either exists or it doesn’t.

Every role also has a durable layer — communication, problem-solving, judgment under pressure, working with minimal supervision. Your postings name it explicitly, in the mandatory list, right next to the certifications. But nothing on the screen measures it. A resume can claim “excellent communication”; it can’t demonstrate it.

The two roles above are opposite extremes — one nearly all technical, one nearly all durable — and the screen treats them identically: it verifies the credential and takes the durable layer on faith. That’s the same gap in every role in between.

The durable layer is already in your requirements — the postings name it directly. What the screen can’t do is measure it, so it gets taken on faith until the work itself reveals it, twelve weeks in. An instrument that reads it up front changes when you learn it, not whether.

That gap matters more under the 75% offer commitment SkillBridge providers carry: you’re deciding who to host with a clean read on the certification and no read at all on the layer that decides whether they’ll actually do the job. That second layer is what PowerTechs measures.

See it across all your roles

This is two of your postings. In 20 minutes I’ll walk you through the same read on the rest — where the durable requirements sit in each role, and how you’d see them in a candidate before you commit a mentoring slot. No cost, no pitch attached.
